Post Final game reflection

Most fun: Garrett Devlin's Donttouchthewhatevers

Most difficult: My own game as the last level somehow became almost impossible to beat

Most creative: Gaerin McGregor's Planet Platformer

I have chosen to write about Gaerin's project, as he did a lot different from mine. Personally, none of his things that he added would have worked with my game, though his movement was a bit smoother than mine. He could have added a timer for a harder mode, in addition to the normal game.

Scratch final project

Scratch link

I began by adding a background and two characters, a playable character and an enemy. From there, I just kept adding other characters. Through my adventures, I encountered no big challenges, though there were some small challenges along the way, such as some AI problems, though there a little look at some previous projects and a spice of new ideas solved those issues. Testing was the easiest part: I would just play the game and see what worked and what did not. What would suck in testing was that I would have to start the entire game over just to test one sprite. I am quite surprised that it worked as well as it does, and I am also quite happy with the results. Personally, I am most proud of the Shark with laser beams. It is the most fun character I made for this game, and also the most overpowered. I am not really disappointed of anything.

Stage 2

What could be added?
There is nothing possible to still add from these websites. They had things that were already added in the Top Ten list.

What they all have in common:
They all had peoples names as website URLs, all had some sort of navigation bar, and all had pictures.

Other Peoples CES 2017 things

Michael Capone-LG's Airport guide
Gaerin McGregor-HTC Vive Tracker
Ben Gauthier-Toyota Concept-i
Katelyn Bonitatibus-Kuri
Nicholas Hand-Robot Teachers

LG's Airport guide because some people can't find their way around airports. It would probably be very expensive when it hits the market. The upside of something like this is that people most likely won't lose their jobs.

MSI Z270 M7 Gaming Motherboard

The Z270 M7 is a new motherboard released by MSI and showed off at CES 2017. It is based on the 1151 platform, so it allows you to use 7th generation Intel CPUs. It features an auto-overclocking system with eight settings, allowing a i7-7700k to go up to 5.2 GHz. Also, it has RGB LEDs, and the ability to add more LED strips on a special motherboard header. Continuing on with overkill things, it has 3 M.2 slots.
